About the course

Introducing Young Minds (and Curious Learners) to Bhartiya Kāla Gaṇanā!

This summer, step into a knowledge-seeking journey that reconnects us with how Bharat has traditionally understood and experienced time — not just as dates on a calendar, but as a living, observable, cosmic rhythm.

Brahm Varchas Education, in collaboration with Shastra Krida, brings to you a 3-day live online summer camp on “Tithi Darshika” — designed to introduce the fundamentals of Bhartiya Kāla Gaṇanā (Indian time-reckoning system) in a simple, engaging, and experiential format.

While the camp is specially curated for children (10+ years), the subject itself is not part of mainstream education — making this an open-for-all learning experience for anyone interested in Bharatiya Knowledge Systems (IKS).

Why This Matters (IKS in Action)

What if all modern calendars disappeared tomorrow?

Would we still be able to understand time?

Bhartiya Kāla Gaṇanā offers a deeply scientific and observation-based system rooted in:

  • Movements of the Sun & Moon
  • Cycles of Ritu (seasons)
  • Rhythms of lunar phases (Tithi)
This workshop is an IKS-in-action experience, where learners don’t just “study” concepts - they observe, calculate, and connect with them.
